It takes one year and a half of this contemporary home remodeling ideas which also is his own home located in Laurel Canyon section of Los Angeles Hollywood Hills by new designer Michael Parks. The talented designer is pleased with his dramatic remodeling called The Parks House which houses three innovative bedroom remodeling ideas. It takes so long indeed to develop this dramatic home design as Parks as the owner has no formal education on architectural design education. This reminds me of a movie in 2007 called Ratatouille where Gusteau stated “anyone can cook”, and well we stated “anyone can be interior designer and architect”. The result done at this home remodeling ideas by Parks is a ground breaking modern home design.
Parks story: “After an architect presented us with a set of plans (no similarities to Parks’) that were over three times our budget, I decided to explore the possibility of using my love of architecture and my creative, budgeting and project management skills from TV and film producing to try and do it myself……It all came together in a very LA story. While getting my haircut, a stylist told me that he had a contractor/business partner ‘who was the best.’ The contractor turned out to be his brother, but after meeting him I realized he was our man and I could do the project for under our limited budget.” Parks made a full time job on this house which was in severe condition and what he did is astounding. He has done a lot for sure at this modern home restoration. Keep up the good job!
