Pattern Inspiration - Circles and a Linky Party

THIS POST IS FROM ROOM REMIX - THE BLOG .

Welcome to the Pattern Inspiration Party!

There are other patterns that I find more riveting than circles, but as I mentioned in my last post, I decided to use them for today's post. I also thought that it might be the least likely pattern that others would post about so, for variety's sake, it seemed a good choice.

Here are just some of the ways that circles can be incorporated into your design... (I'm trying to keep this post more compact because of the linky party, but I may not have succeeded.)

Add circles to your room design by attaching a transclucent dot fabric over ready-made curtain panels...

You could add them to your bedroom with a fun mix of fabrics...

How about furniture? I'm in love with these chairs. Notice that the circular pattern is repeated in the mirror (and the tufting of the bench). Repeating a design element more than once in a room helps the completed space feel more cohesive.

Circular ottomans/tables can be a nice option because they're easier to maneuver around and don't have any sharp corners for the kids (and adults!) to run into...

Circles can also be used to soften a space...

Now on to the party! I (we) would love to have you link up and show us what inspires you! Remember this is a pattern inspiration party, so the post needs to be something related to a pattern/shape that has inspired you or a project you've done. It's not just a general DIY linkup, so please only include DIY projects that involve pattern.

What to do? Link up your pattern inspiration post below (please link directly to the post, not to your general blog address). Also, I don't have a fabulous party button for you to post, but please link back to this party in your post so that everyone else can enjoy the party too!
